2019 CHALLENGE GRANTS

INNOVATING OUR GRANT PROCESS

This year, we are making some exciting changes to our classroom grant program! Keep reading below to see what’s new, and learn more about how to submit your grant proposal!

Let’s Think CHALLENGE!

As you are thinking about grants this year, and developing your ideas, we want you to think CHALLENGE! We CHALLENGE, you to think big. Think outside of the box. Think without limitations. Think about innovation. Break the mold.

Not Just for Teachers!

You might be a custodian, a bus driver, a counselor, a para or a food service employee (just to name a few roles). As long as the proposal is for an educational project, something that helps our students learn, grow and prepare for success after Maize USD 266, we want to hear from you!

For instance, perhaps a team of our Food Service staff members have an idea for kick-starting a district-wide composting program. Or, maybe the Transportation Department has an idea to implement a leadership program that encourages student bus riders to "lead from within." There are lots of possibilities!

New First Step: Submit Your Abstract!

It's a new step in the process, and one that we hope will help you.

If you've ever wanted simply to get a little feedback on your overall idea before filling out an application--now you can!

All applicants must complete this step, but the reward is a little feedback and some guidance that should help you submit a strong application!
